Terms of Service

These Terms of Service and Contractor Referral Agreement ("Terms") govern your use of RenoSync, a contractor-matching and scheduling service created and operated by Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC ("Pacific Roofing," "RenoSync," "we," "us," or "our").

RenoSync is designed to help homeowners and property owners identify contractors who may provide services related to their repair, renovation, maintenance, construction, or improvement needs.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE PROCEEDING. BY SELECTING "I AGREE," YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO THESE TERMS. YOU MUST ACCEPT THESE TERMS BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION OR SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT THROUGH RENOSYNC.

1. RenoSync Is a Contractor-Matching Service

RenoSync is a service intended to assist homeowners and property owners in finding contractors who may be able to perform requested services in their area.

When you describe your project, RenoSync may use artificial intelligence, automated technology, information you provide, and other matching criteria to identify the types of services that may be appropriate for your project.

You may be given the opportunity to add, remove, or modify the services associated with your request before proceeding.

RenoSync may then display contractors based on factors including, but not limited to:

Services requested;
Contractor service categories;
Project location;
Contractor service area;
Language preferences;
Contractor availability or participation in RenoSync; and
Other relevant matching criteria.

The contractors displayed to you may not represent every contractor available in your geographic area. Filtering based on services, location, language, availability, or other factors may result in certain contractors not appearing in your search results.

2. Artificial Intelligence and Service Recommendations

RenoSync may use artificial intelligence or automated systems to interpret the project description you provide and suggest possible service categories.

These suggestions are provided as a convenience only.

RenoSync does not guarantee that an AI-generated service recommendation is complete, accurate, or appropriate for your project. Certain conditions may require additional trades, specialists, inspections, permits, engineering, environmental testing, or other services that cannot be determined from the information you provide through RenoSync.

You are responsible for reviewing the suggested services and discussing the actual scope of work directly with the contractor you select.

3. Information You Provide

To request or schedule an appointment, you may be asked to provide information including:

Your name;
Email address;
Telephone number;
Property or service address;
Project description;
Services requested;
Language preference;
Scheduling information; and
Other information that you voluntarily provide in connection with your project.

You agree that the information you submit will be accurate to the best of your knowledge.

You are responsible for the information, photographs, descriptions, documents, or other materials that you choose to submit through RenoSync.

Do not submit sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for evaluating or scheduling your project.

4. Sharing Your Information With Contractors

By selecting a contractor and requesting or scheduling an appointment through RenoSync, you authorize Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync to provide the information necessary to process your request to the contractor or contracting business you selected.

This information may include:

Your name;
Telephone number;
Email address;
Service address;
Project description;
Requested services;
Appointment or scheduling information; and
Other project-related information you choose to provide.

This information is shared so that the selected contractor can evaluate your request, contact you, communicate regarding your project, and attend or coordinate the requested appointment.

RenoSync and Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC do not sell your personal contact information to contractors or other third parties as a list, lead database, or unrelated marketing product.

Your information and service request are shared with the contractor or contractors you choose in connection with the services you request, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Once your information has been provided to a contractor at your direction, that contractor may have its own privacy, record-retention, communication, and data-security practices. Pacific Roofing and RenoSync do not control a contractor's independent use or protection of information after it has been properly provided to that contractor.

5. Contractor Selection Is Your Decision

RenoSync provides possible contractor matches to assist you in narrowing your search.

Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync do not require, force, direct, or obligate you to hire or schedule any contractor displayed through RenoSync.

The final decision to:

Select a contractor;
Schedule an appointment;
Request an estimate;
Allow a contractor onto your property;
Enter into a contract;
Authorize work;
Make payment; or
Continue or terminate a contractor relationship

is solely your decision.

The appearance of a contractor in RenoSync search results does not constitute an endorsement, certification, warranty, guarantee, or representation by Pacific Roofing or RenoSync concerning that contractor.

6. Contractors Are Independent Businesses

Contractors appearing through RenoSync are independent businesses or service providers.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, contractors displayed through RenoSync are not employees, agents, partners, representatives, joint venturers, or subcontractors of Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC or RenoSync merely because they appear in RenoSync search results.

Any agreement for inspections, estimates, repairs, construction, renovation, materials, labor, warranties, pricing, payment, project scope, project completion, or other contractor services is between you and the contractor you select.

RenoSync is not a party to that agreement solely because RenoSync facilitated the introduction or appointment.

7. Contractor Licensing, Insurance, Bonding, and Registration

Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync do not guarantee that contractors appearing through RenoSync are licensed, registered, insured, bonded, certified, or otherwise legally qualified to perform your specific project.

Contractor requirements vary depending on:

State;
County;
City;
Type of work;
Project value;
Specialty or trade;
Permit requirements; and
Other laws or regulations.

It is your responsibility to independently verify a contractor's qualifications before scheduling work or entering into an agreement.

Where applicable, you should verify:

Contractor license or registration status;
Business registration;
General liability insurance;
Workers' compensation coverage;
Bond status;
Specialty licenses or certifications;
Complaints or disciplinary history where publicly available;
Required permits;
Required inspections; and
Any other qualifications required by your state or local jurisdiction.

The contractor's business name will be made available as part of the selection or scheduling process so that you can perform this verification.

For Oregon projects, consumers should verify applicable contractor licensing through the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB).

For Washington projects, consumers should verify applicable contractor registration through the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries (L&I).

For projects in other states or jurisdictions, you should use the appropriate state contractor licensing agency, business registry, or local licensing authority.

You should complete this verification before authorizing work or making payment to a contractor.

8. Permits, Inspections, Codes, and Local Requirements

Pacific Roofing and RenoSync do not determine whether your project requires a building permit, specialty permit, inspection, engineering approval, zoning approval, historical approval, environmental review, or other governmental authorization.

You and the contractor you select are responsible for determining what requirements apply to your project.

Requirements may differ by city, county, state, type of property, and type of work.

You should contact the applicable local building department or regulatory authority when necessary.

9. Contractor Reviews and Ratings

RenoSync may display customer reviews, ratings, or feedback concerning participating contractors.

Reviews and ratings are intended to reflect feedback voluntarily submitted by customers following appointments or interactions with contractors.

Pacific Roofing and RenoSync do not intentionally alter customer ratings or reviews for the purpose of artificially increasing or decreasing a contractor's rating.

Customer participation in the review process is voluntary. Customers are not required to submit a review or rating after an appointment.

Because feedback is voluntary:

A contractor may have completed or attended multiple appointments without receiving a review;
A contractor with no submitted ratings may appear with a rating of 0 out of 5 stars, "Not Yet Rated," or similar designation;
The number of reviews may not correspond to the number of appointments completed by a contractor; and
Ratings should not be interpreted as a guarantee of future performance.

RenoSync encourages customers to provide accurate and truthful feedback because customer feedback helps other members of the community make informed decisions.

Reviews represent the opinions and experiences of the customers who submit them and do not necessarily represent the views of Pacific Roofing or RenoSync.

RenoSync reserves the right to remove content when reasonably necessary to address fraud, spam, unlawful content, threats, personally identifying information, content unrelated to an actual customer experience, or violations of applicable policies or law. RenoSync does not remove or suppress legitimate reviews merely because they are negative.

10. No Guarantee of Contractor Performance

Pacific Roofing and RenoSync do not guarantee:

Contractor availability;
Contractor response times;
Appointment attendance;
Pricing;
Estimates;
Workmanship;
Materials;
Project schedules;
Completion dates;
Compliance with contracts;
Contractor licensing or registration status;
Insurance or bond coverage;
Permit compliance;
Code compliance;
Warranty performance;
Property protection; or
Any particular project outcome.

Contractor information can change over time. A contractor's license, registration, insurance, bond, employees, ownership, service area, qualifications, or legal status may change without notice to RenoSync.

You should independently verify relevant contractor information before proceeding with your project.

11. No Warranty Regarding Search Results

RenoSync attempts in good faith to connect customers with contractors whose listed services and service areas correspond to customer requests.

However, RenoSync does not warrant that:

Every suggested contractor performs the requested service;
Every contractor is available;
Every contractor serves your exact location;
Every service category identified by RenoSync is correct;
Search results contain every available contractor;
A contractor will accept your project; or
A contractor will successfully complete your project.

Matching results are provided as a starting point for your own evaluation and selection.

12. Your Responsibility for Contractor Selection

By using RenoSync, you acknowledge and agree that you are responsible for evaluating and selecting any contractor with whom you choose to communicate, schedule, or do business.

You agree to conduct whatever investigation you believe is appropriate before hiring a contractor, including verifying licenses, registration, insurance, bonding, references, credentials, permits, and applicable legal requirements.

You acknowledge that Pacific Roofing and RenoSync are providing RenoSync as a community resource intended to simplify the process of locating potential contractors and that the ultimate contractor selection remains yours.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC, RenoSync, and their respective owners, members, managers, employees, representatives, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for damages, losses, claims, injuries, property damage, defective workmanship, incomplete work, delays, payment disputes, contractual disputes, permit violations, code violations, licensing issues, insurance issues, bond issues, acts, omissions, negligence, misconduct, fraud, or other conduct arising from or relating to a contractor selected or contacted through RenoSync.

You understand that Pacific Roofing and RenoSync do not control the independent actions of contractors displayed through the service.

Without limiting the foregoing, Pacific Roofing and Renovations LLC and RenoSync are not liable for, and expressly disclaim any responsibility for, damage to your property arising from, occurring during, or otherwise connected to a scheduled appointment, inspection, estimate, or any other service performed by a contractor you selected through RenoSync. Any claim for property damage must be directed to the contractor who performed the work and, where applicable, that contractor's insurance carrier.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that disputes concerning a contractor's work, conduct, price, contract, materials, employees, subcontractors, warranties, damages, or performance must be addressed directly with that contractor or through any governmental, regulatory, insurance, bond, court, arbitration, or other remedy legally available to you.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any right or remedy that cannot legally be waived or limited under applicable law.

14. No Professional Advice

Information provided through RenoSync is for contractor-matching and informational purposes.

RenoSync does not provide legal, engineering, architectural, structural, environmental, insurance, financial, building-code, or other professional advice.

You should consult an appropriately licensed professional when your project requires specialized advice.

15. Communication With Your Selected Contractor

By requesting an appointment or contractor contact through RenoSync, you authorize RenoSync and the contractor you select to communicate with you regarding that service request or appointment using the contact information you provide.

Communications may include appointment confirmations, scheduling communications, requests for additional project information, updates regarding your service request, and post-appointment requests for feedback.

Any separate consent required for promotional or marketing communications will be governed by applicable law and any additional consent language presented to you.

16. Privacy

Pacific Roofing and RenoSync will handle personal information in accordance with the RenoSync Privacy Policy and applicable law.

The Privacy Policy should explain, among other things:

What information RenoSync collects;
Why the information is collected;
How the information is used;
Which contractors or service providers may receive information;
How information is protected and retained;
Applicable consumer privacy rights; and
How to contact RenoSync regarding privacy questions.

Acceptance of these Terms also acknowledges that information necessary to process your service request will be shared with the contractor or contractors you affirmatively select.

17. Availability and Modification of RenoSync

Pacific Roofing may change, suspend, restrict, or discontinue all or part of RenoSync at any time, subject to applicable law.

Features, contractor availability, geographic coverage, matching criteria, service categories, and functionality may change over time.

18. Changes to These Terms

Pacific Roofing may update these Terms periodically.

When material changes are made, the updated Terms will display a revised effective date. Where required by law, additional notice or consent will be provided.

Your use of RenoSync is governed by the version of the Terms presented to you at the time you accept them, except as otherwise permitted by applicable law.

19. Governing Law

These Terms will be governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent that the mandatory laws of another jurisdiction apply to you or your transaction.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

21. Entire Agreement Regarding RenoSync Use

These Terms, together with the RenoSync Privacy Policy and any additional notices or consents presented to you, constitute the agreement governing your use of RenoSync.

These Terms do not replace or modify any separate written agreement you may later enter into directly with a contractor.

22. Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By checking the acceptance box and selecting "I Agree & Continue," you confirm that:

You have read and understand these Terms;
You understand that RenoSync is a contractor-matching and scheduling service;
You understand that Pacific Roofing and RenoSync do not guarantee or certify contractors displayed through RenoSync;
You understand that contractors have not necessarily been independently verified by Pacific Roofing or RenoSync;
You understand that you are responsible for verifying contractor licensing, registration, insurance, bonding, permits, certifications, and other qualifications;
You understand that selecting and scheduling a contractor is your decision;
You authorize RenoSync to provide your contact information, service address, project description, requested services, and scheduling information to the contractor or contractors you affirmatively select;
You understand that Pacific Roofing and RenoSync do not sell your personal contact information as a contractor lead list or unrelated marketing database;
You understand that customer reviews and ratings are voluntary and may not represent every customer's experience;
You understand that RenoSync's AI-generated service suggestions and contractor matches are informational tools and are not guarantees; and
You agree to these Terms of Service.

You must accept these Terms to continue to the contact-information and appointment-scheduling portion of RenoSync.
